HOW IT WORKS: Silymarin, the active extract of Milk Thistle, is well known for its liver supporting properties.* Silymarin’s most potent bioactive constituent, Silybin helps to support the liver’s free radical scavenging and detoxification functions through its support of glutathione and SOD production.* Silybin thus helps to maintain healthy liver tissues by stabilizing cell membranes.* This Protocol product utilizes Siliphos®, a phytosome with phosphatidyl choline (PC), which has been clinically tested and shown to significantly enhance absorption and utilization of Silybin, a compound characterized by poor bioavailability.*

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

SUGGESTED USAGE: As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 1 to 3 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

CAUTIONS/INTERACTIONS: Because Silybin can affect the activity of certain hepatic P-450 enzymes (CYP2C9 and CYP3A4) as well as beta-glucuronidase, this product may interact with certain medications. If you are taking any medications or if you are pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare practitioner before using this product.
